PLEASE MAKE NOTE* IF THE CLASS DOSE NOT HAVE URHOEA IN FRONT OF IT THERE WILL BE NO POINTS.  ALSO THE CLASSES HAVE TO BE WORDED EXACTLY THE WAY IT IS ON THE LIST FOR HIGH POINTS.

HIGH POINT AWARD RULES

EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2009

All horses must be registered as URHOEA before high points can begin to accumulate. If an exhibitor shows a horse before it is actually registered, no points will be awarded for the show(s).   The exhibitor must have a current  show card.  Points will be awarded for any show that is affiliated with URHOEA and judged by a URHOEA judge.  There is no minimum number of entrants for a class in order to gain points for that class or show.  For GO AS YOU PLEASE (ONLY);       the exhibitor does NOT have to have a show card or be registered with URHOEA to SHOW the horse.  However, in order to accumulate high points, the horse must be registered with URHOEA and the exhibitor must have a show card.  If juvenile classes are offered at a show, the juvenile exhibitor must show in the juvenile class.  If there is not a juvenile class offered at a particular show, the juvenile may show in an “adult” class.  For example, if there is a juvenile trail pleasure class AND a trail pleasure class, the juvenile must show in the juvenile class.  If there is no class for the juvenile to show, then the juvenile exhibitor may show in the “adult” tail pleasure class.  The same goes for similar classes.

Our goal for the future is to be able to expand the high point program to include more classes especially in the versatility program.  We are attempting several fund raisers throughout the season and hope that all will support us in our efforts to recognize our High Point Champions.
